Latest Session: The English Cottage - Rainbow City, AL
Hannah & Lance - The English Cottage Rainbow City, AL - November 16, 2025
Hannah & Lance
With Christmas Time right around the corner, Lance reached out for his and Hannah's seasonal Christmas Photos and he rented out a timer slot at The English Cottage in Rainbow City, AL....BUT...there was a twist...
Surprise!
Well, turns out he, Hannah's Mom, and myself were cooking up something in secret..
What better way to surprise the love of your life with a couple's photoshoot that turns unexpectedly(but planned) into an ENGAGEMENT PHOTOSHOOT????
Of course She said, "Yes!"
It took Hannah 0.0001 second to say the BIGGEST, "YES!"
I'm wishing this beautiful couple nothing but the best and fingers crossed they remember they know an Alabama photographer when they decide to have their wedding. ;P
The Coffee House Albertville, AL
Jennifer & Joshua:
These two wonderful people decided to keep it close to home at their home church that has an extension from the main campus. This unique arm of the church is a coffee shop that projects the Sunday service on a screen. It a combination of both worship and coffee. How cool is that?!?
The Sterling Castle - Shelby, AL
Heidi & Angel -
These two said their "I do's" at this STUNNING venue nestled away in the woods of Shelby, Alabama.
Once a home, the owner poured his blood, sweat, and tears into turning the families house into a medieval castle. Now the family rents the property for weddings and other events.
Cloudland Canyon State Park
Stacee and Casey decided that their big day wouldn't be complete without their celebration ending in a three mile hike down to the bottom of the cliffs to bring their union to a grand finale in front of the most gorgeous waterfall at Cloudland State Park. Luckily, their Wedding Photographer, me, is absolutely down for an adventure and jumped at the chance to hike along side these two wonderful people.
At Cloudland State Park, I think the total count of stairs one has to climb to get to the waterfall is about...
1 trillion? (lol)
Okay, maybe not that many but It was definitely more than the fingers and toes that I can count on. I told them the next wedding that I shoot here that I would charge per step.
I never knew that when I decided to start my journey as a Wedding Photographer that photography would take me to the places it has. Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, all over the south. Barns, Parks, Waterfalls, Gardens, and even one cemetery.
That's true, I actually shot a wedding in a cemetery.
I guess you could say that I take my job DEAD SERIOUSLY.
... Back to Stacee and Casey though!
Now Stacee and Casey's didn't start at the top of the stairs. Their celebration actually started about half a mile up the road at Cloudland State Park's Event and Ceremony center.
After a beautiful ceremony, accompanied by a wonderful Harpist, we headed inside for the first dance and reception.
Stacee and Casey made me feel part of the family if I'm being honest. Everyone was so full of life and there wasn't a moment that smiles weren't plastered on everyone's faces.
After the cake cutting and champagne we loaded up, booted up, and headed to the next stop of the day.
The Falls.
What a magical day this was.
Do you need a wedding photographer who's willing to hike, climb, or swim on your wedding? I'm your guy
I'm so glad I could be a small part of their adventure and was there to be their wedding photographer.
Thank you, Stacee & Casey.
